Big Bike Revival

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a grant by the Big Bike Revival to organise a couple of cycle rides for students, families and staff. The grant is also enabling us to get all our bikes serviced, and buy some new helmets. If you are interested in taking part in our bike rides, contact Dougie Craigie at Upmo on 0131 661 4411 or by email at dougiecraigie@upmo.org

Dates to be announced soon.

The Big Bike Revival is a national project that is encouraging thousands of people to bring their bikes back in to use and get cycling. The project has been developed by Cycling UK and is funded by Transport Scotland.

The Scottish Government has a vision to see 10% of everyday journeys to be made by cycling by 2020 and the Big Bike Revival is intended to help achieve that.

We are especially grateful to Bonnie Munro for generously donating a bike to our Bike Club so that even more of our students can get out and about this summer.
