Dear friends, students, parents and carers
You are warmly invited to join us for our forthcoming annual Upmo Sponsored Walk, which will take place on Thursday 4th June from 11am at Holyrood Park, Edinburgh.
Since our first ever walk back in 2011, this event has grown steadily to become one of the highlights in our yearly calendar. It is a fun and challenging activity for everyone, and all funds raised make a significant contribution to the costs of running our workshops. Last year this event raised almost £4,000 thanks to everyone who took part, and this year we are hoping to break that target.
As with previous years, the route is 5K (3.5 miles) and follows the road around Arthur's Seat. It is a safe route and easily manageable in a wheelchair. There is stunning scenery, amazing views (here's hoping for a sunny day) and of course, great company.
Due to a growing numbers of walkers every year, we now need everyone to register to take part. We will also be walking in staged smaller groups.
