Upmo are delighted to have been selected by Edinburgh Community Bookshop as their charity to support this February!

Head along to their fantastic bookshop on Great Junction Street, where you will find a wide variety of second-hand books and friendly staff. This month only, every purchase will provide vital funds for Upmo to continue our work in providing support and opportunity to adults with learning disabilities and autism in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Students from one of our Visual Arts workshops have started creating a brand-new window display for the shop, featuring a tree made of books.

Edinburgh Community Bookshop support charities by donating profits from the sale of donated second hand books to a different local charity each month. They are open Monday - Sunday, 10am - 4pm at 179 -181 Great Junction Street, Leith.

When you visit, pop round to Leith Victoria Swim Centre (under a five-minute walk away) to enjoy your new books with a hot drink, breakfast or lunch from Upmo Eat. We will offer a 10% discount to anyone who comes in and shows staff their February-dated Edinburgh Community Bookshop receipt. Upmo Eat at Leith Victoria is open Monday - Friday, 10am - 5.30pm.
