Paul Atkinson

Paul served in the RAF until 2018 and was stationed around the UK and the world during a varied career in air defence operations, leadership, training and strategy roles. On leaving the RAF, Paul was a charity director and now works for the Scottish Government on Net Zero investment finance. He lives with his wife in Northumberland and has two grown-up daughters and a Border Terrier, Archie

In addition to Upmo, Paul is also a trustee and Vice Chair of HospiceCare North Northumberland and is a volunteer Coastguard Rescue Officer. He enjoys a variety of outdoor pursuits, including running, cycling, cricket and skiing.
